01/18/2026 - MLK Snow Day
Honoring the Dream through Joy and Togetherness
Sunday, January 18 | Group Session: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM After that, the mountain is yours to explore until you're ready to head home!
MLK Day weekend is often framed around service. At We Outside, we believe that joy, rest, and movement are also essential parts of the work. Join us for a community-centered winter experience on the slopes as we reclaim the winter landscape and celebrate together.
We aren't just on the snow for ourselves. A portion of every ticket sold goes directly to Corbeau Snowsports, a local Black-led nonprofit, to fund their mission of getting more youth on the slopes. By joining us, you are directly investing in the next generation of winter athletes.
The "Beginner-Friendly" Experience
Never touched snow? No problem. This trip is designed for first-timers. Your registration is an all-inclusive package that removes the barriers to entry:
All-Day Lift Ticket: Access to the mountain from open until close. We will move together as a group until 2:30 PM, but you are welcome to keep riding as long as you wish!
Complete Equipment Rental: Skis or snowboard, plus boots and helmet.
On-Site Guidance: Professional support from the Corbeau Snowsports team—perfect for those who have never touched snow.
Community Vibes: Group photos, encouragement, and a shared experience with a community that wants to see you win.
Social Impact: A direct contribution to Corbeau’s Youth Programming.
Note: Food, drinks, and personal purchases are handled individually at the lodge.
Registration
To make the mountain accessible, we utilize a tiered pricing model. Select the tier that best fits your ability to contribute.
Supporter Rate ($200): Covers your full costs and provides a $50 contribution toward our scholarship fund. This directly helps get another community member outside—either for this event or a future "We Outside" excursion..
Standard Rate ($150): Our base all-inclusive rate. Covers gear, lift, lessons, and your donation to Corbeau.
Scholarship Waitlist ($0): Select this to join our waitlist for a sponsored spot. We will contact you as funds become available through our Supporter community. Please note: Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a ticket, as spots are dependent on community contributions.
A Note on our Model: We Outside is a for-profit organization. We believe in using our platform to drive social impact. While we are not a 501(c)(3), we are committed to radical transparency: 100% of the "Supporter" premiums go directly to funding community scholarships.
Know Before You Go
Meeting Time: We’ll gather at the lodge at 8:30 AM to get everyone through rentals and onto the snow together.
The Schedule: Our guided group support and community photos happen between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. After that, the mountain is yours to explore until you're ready to head home!
Clothing: Wear layers! Moisture-wicking base layers, a warm fleece, and a waterproof outer jacket/pants are highly recommended. No cotton socks—wool or synthetic is best!
