Outside in 2025
a note from the founder
As the year turns, I keep coming back to how this all started. What began as a risky idea and a lot of trust slowly turned into something real. Last January, I was running on a mix of delusion and faith, figuring things out one day at a time. There was no perfect plan, just movement, instinct, and the belief that the right people would show up. They did.
More than 500 people found their way into this work during our first year – through hikes, workshops, conversations in the shop, social gatherings, and quiet moments outside that reminded us to breathe. Watching the community gather itself around this space has been the biggest lesson. From the beginning, the goal was simple. Create space where people could show up as they are and build their own relationship with nature. Watching that happen confirmed we were on the right path.
Now we step into a new season with a different kind of energy. Not the rush of starting something from scratch, but the clarity that comes after a year of learning and listening. The storefront feels like a true home base. The rhythms are steadier. The vision is sharper. This year is about building on that foundation and creating ways for people to stay connected through the seasons, not just at events.
That is the heart behind New Year, New WE. An invitation to move with intention, build accountability in community, and create a rhythm that brings you outside more often.
Wherever you are beginning this year, there is space for you here.
Maybe you joined us once and want to return. Maybe life pulled you in other directions. Maybe you have been with us since the very first hike. I am grateful for every version of that. And if you are tired of telling yourself this is the year you finally make it to the gym, come try movement that’s connected to more. Sometimes all we need is ten minutes outside to shift the whole day.
Thank you for walking with me through this first year. I am excited for what we will cultivate together in 2026.
